Urbania Aluminum Sliding Patio Door Features
The Urbania combines a narrow aluminum sash with insulated glass, a thermally broken frame, and an integrated drainage design. A thermally broken aluminum frame uses a continuous low-conductivity barrier between interior and exterior aluminum components to limit direct heat transfer through the metal.
Low-E glass has a low-emissivity coating designed to reduce heat transfer through the glass, while argon fills the space within the insulating glass unit. The Warm Edge Spacer System separates the panes around the perimeter. Actual performance depends on the selected configuration, opening conditions, and installation.
The anodized aluminum sill, drainage system, frame, glass, and spacer work as parts of a complete door assembly. During selection, we can help you consider these specifications together rather than comparing one feature in isolation.
